Alexandra Palace is a historical multi-purpose complex located in Alexandra Park, between Muswell Hill and Wood Green in the northern part of London. It was built in 1873. In these days Alexandra Palace serves mainly as a convention centre and a public centre of recreation and entertainment, hosting concerts, exhibitions, and conferences. There is also a public ice-skating rink.
Alexandra Palace Public Transport Access
Tube stations near Alexandra Palace are Wood Green on Picadilly Line (the nearest) and Highgate or East Finchley on Northern Line (High Barnet branch). Even closer than any of the tube stations is Alexandra Palace railway station, located in the north-eastern corner of Alexandra Park.
There are also buses going through the park, with several stops by Alexandra Palace. The bus stop names are (from east to west): Hornsey / Alexandra Palace Ice Rink, Alexandra Palace Palm Court, and Alexandra Palace Garden Centre. More buses stop at the junction of Priory Road (A504), Park Road (A1201), and Muswell Hill, near the southern corner of the park.
