Easy to park, fabulous grounds with a welcoming entrance. Although extensively refurbished there are still features of the old Quorn Grange I remember for working there 30 years ago. The bedroom was large and contained a massive comfortable bed(slept so well). There was a bath too and the nice touch of guest toiletries on the side. Tea coffee and hot chocolate on the side ready to be made. Had the weather been better I’d have enjoyed the double doors which do open on to the car park but still very leafy. The breakfast was basic but nothing was missed. The offer of a freshly cooked breakfast was given but I opted for the buffet continental instead. The restaurant itself formed of the original bar area and part of the original restaurant was light and airy and well laid out. It was a pleasure to stay and I will be visiting again.

The apartment was awful, dirty, the shower didn’t work, brown across the ceiling, food up the walls and the toilet must have been leaking as urine and water was coming through the toilet when you stood on the floor boards.

Typical student town, with many young people in evidence.
Typical student town, with many young people in evidence. Safe, friendly feel to the town, even in the evening at the weekend. Lots of variety in the restaurants and cafés, good shopping with some very good independent shops, as well as the usual chains.

My son goes to Loughborough college and loves it.
My son goes to Loughborough college and loves it.
To be honest I wouldn't go to Loughborough on holiday but its a nice town. If you like a drink check out Moonface brewery. The market in the town is on twice a week and is nice.
The property was absolutely ideal, the lovely lady I met at the bar was very accommodating and was really helpful, I stayed here to visit Loughborough university.
I would highly recommend the peacock inn to stay as it’s quiet affordable and very comfortable, the shared shower was spotless and the room was really cozy and warm.
I was nervous travelling here on my own to see Loughborough but knowing that you have a safe place to return at the end of the day was a relief to the mind, a lovely town and also a lovely place to visit and stay.
Thank you to Derek and Lez for such a very pleasurable stay at Holywell House.
We received a very warm welcome on arrival and the whole place, including our room and ensuite was beautiful, very comfortable and spotless throughout. The breakfast was wonderful and very delicious.
It is also in an ideal location, not far from the town centre, which was ideal for us.
We will definitely stay again, next time that I have to stay over in Loughborough, this is the best place I have stayed in, and I have been going to Loughborough for many years.
- Secure parking
- Spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds
- Efficient heating that kept us nice and warm
- Lovely shower
- Good sized fridge
- Location was good as it was only an 8-minute walk to the town centre
- The host was very responsive and helpful. The washing machine was broken, but we were given an alternative (we were given the code to another apartment in the building, so we could do our laundry easily)
- The host tried to make our Christmas stay more festive by providing a decoration
The hotel is in a good location, about 5mins off M1, stayed here for a visit to Donington park. The room was a good size, had a bath and a shower. The ground floor reception area was bright and open with seating arranged around it. The bar was in this area so easily accessible. The breakfast was also served in this area, plenty of choices from cold to hot traditional but all self service. All in all a great find and not expensive either.
Couple who ran the B and B were friendly and helpful. Stayed one night for graduation, perfect location for university.
Everything we needed, comfortable room, good breakfast. Shower room in need of a bit of updating but clean and worked fine. Brilliant value for a family room, which saved us getting 2 rooms in a hotel. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to have a treatment or use the restaurant.
We were attending a wedding at a nearby venue and were struggling to find hotels that offered family rooms. We were lcky enough to find Charnwood Regency Guest House who were more than helpful. Our room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was lovely.
Staff were friendly and accommodating and the decor was lovely. We'd be happy to stay here again!
Very convenient location. We were going on the Grand Central railway - walkable in less than 10 mins from the hotel. Also very close to the town centre, lots of restaurants, etc and a lovely pub almost across the road . Staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking available at the hotel at a reasonable price. The shower was great too - hot and powerful.
Great location on site at Loughborough university, parking decent, check in painless, good shower, very clean rooms....rooms are really large too with good desk space for two people to work side by side if needed. Quiet, I got a good night sleep. It might be my imagination but the beds seemed REALLY long, maybe athletes are very tall!
We have used Burleigh Court many times due to our daughter attending the university. We have never been disappointed and always enjoyed our stay. Sadly she has now left the uni and so we may not be returning. If however, we are ever in need of a hotel in this area, Burleigh will be our first option. Thoroughly recommend it.
Without exception, I would be hard-pressed to find hotel staff who were more friendly, helpful, polite and simply out to please. Evening meals in the restaurant were excellent and the service was very attentive. Parking facilities were good.
The house was on a nice quiet road, close by to Loughbough town centre and the University. Never seen a house so warming and clean. The owner was so lovely and helpful, I would definitely recommend for anyone who is visiting loughborough.
All the staff were very friendly. Room was small but very comfortable. Dining in the restaurant was a pleasure, excellent food. Located close to Loughborough town centre, in the most historic part.
We were visiting my son who is at Loughborough University the location was perfect for this, place was clean, staff friendly we will definitely use this hotel again when visiting our son.
I stayed there to help my son to settle to Lboro University and the location of the hotel is excellent in the heart of the campus, very clean and spacious rooms, very helpful staff
This was a clean and comfortable room for a 1 night’s stay. Convenient for the town centre. Free parking too. Reasonable priced drinks in the pub nice and friendly staff.
The natural state of the manor is well preserved. The room and toilet are beautifully furnished. I will definitely want to stay here again if I visit Loughborough again.
Location was spot on for access to town and close to Loughborough University.
Everything was clean and quiet in the evenings to ensure a good nights sleep.
