ZOB München Hackerbrücke

Munich central bus station and the main bus terminal for international and long-distance buses (also including Eurolines and Flixbus) is officially named Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof München and commonly known as ZOB Hackerbrücke or ZOB München Hackerbrücke (ZOB stands for Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof, which is central bus station in German).

Terminal Building

The bus station has a big modern-looking terminal building. It has all the facilities you would expect from a modern public transport terminal, including underground parking, waiting room, currency exchange, ticket offices, and numerous shops and restaurants, which are open daily. There are 29 bus platforms, but navigation is quite easy and everything is well signed.

Location and Local Transport

The bus station is located in the very centre of Munich, next to Hackerbrücke S-Bahn stop. It is very close to Munich Hauptbahnhof (main train station) – 1 S-Bahn stop, but also close enough to walk.

There is also frequent tram service in Arnulfstrasse, the main street in front of the bus station. The tram stop name is also Hackerbrücke.
