Excellent location, very private, view out over open countryside. Stepping from the french windows straight into the countryside.
No people around, just lots of wildlife and birdsong.
Close to many North Kent nature reserves (within a half hour drive)

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet at Watercress Barns.
We really enjoyed the peace and quiet at Watercress Barns. The balcony apartment was very well equipped, bright and comfortable. Perfect for our 3 nights stay. There are some good local pubs in close by villages serving great food. Very easy to access the accommodation from M2 and M20 too.

The traffic on the main A2, running through Sittingbourne,...
The traffic on the main A2, running through Sittingbourne, is a nightmare at rush hour times, and there are numerous traffic lights along the route. A short distance takes longer to travel than you might anticipate, even in non-rush-hour periods.
There is a complicated one-way system in the town centre and there is nowhere to pull up, just to pick up or set down a passenger, outside the railway station (unless you happen to be a taxi).
The suburban streets have many speed bumps along them, making traveling around the town generally uncomfortable.

Nothing to review as we came to see my friend and stayed at hers for the day. Plus I usually come for the day and stay at her sometimes. But as I had a friend with me we are now going to stay there each time we come together.
The staff were so helpful a attentive
Always happy to help with a smile
We arrived a little late and the dining room was fully booked but the squeezed us in other hotels we have stayed in wouldn't have bothered
They arranged for a cab to collect us as we had a wedding to attend without a second thought the staff definitely go above and beyond what is expected of them
We stayed in the ashby suite it was very spacious clean and well presented and so comfortable after being at a wedding all day and night
My wife, son and I stayed here for a night in June 2021.
The host, Jane, was lovely. Her house was comfortable and very clean, with a lovely garden/backyard. The location was great for our needs, just about 10 mins drive to Sittingbourne station and about 20-25 minutes to Tankerton beach (Whitstable) and 20 minutes to Elmley Nature Reserve. The house is right next to the Borden Cricket Club entrance.
The customised home cooked breakfast was delicious.
This B&B is an easy recommendation.
My third stay here. I love the decor as you walk in, the beautifully kept gardens and plenty of parking. The spa facilities are excellent and very appealing. Above all else though this hotel understands customer service. From start to finish, all staff from reception, bedroom cleaning to restaurant staff - they couldn’t do enough for you. This is a very dog friendly place and staff went over and above to make us feel very welcome.
The location was brilliant, quiet and not far from sittingbourne 9 min drive. The accommodation was very clean, lovely shower, but the star of the show was the bed. it was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. If you want a good no a great nights sleep, this is the place to go. I did not sample the breakfast 7am-9am which was too early for me, however a microwave and kettle are provided for lazy people..lol
Barbara and Steve were very welcoming. Everything I could possibly need was in the room. I had a cooked breakfast both mornings, they were equally well cooked and delicious. Nothing was too much trouble and the attention to detail was exceptional. Despite the b&b being on a main road, I slept very well. I'd highly recommend and would definitely stay again. It would always be my first choice in Sittingbourne.
The location was beautiful, quiet and set in the heart of rolling hills and woodland. Yet, not far from all the amenities on offer at Sittingbourne and Faversham. Kate was a great host and the breakfast absolutely delicious. The accommodation was sparkly clean and very comfortable. Thanks, Kate. We look forward to coming back.
Really great location! So easy to get around. The train station is very close with many local spots to eat. The rooms are good sizes and have everything. We requested cleans during our stay and that was taken care of really well. Worked from home a few days and the desk space was appreciated.
Excellent host who could not have been more helpfful. Comfortable very well equipped flat in a nice quiet area and with its own off road parking space. Handy for the Medway towns and north Kent attractions. One of the best self catering venues we have used.
It was a great room, very comfortable and clean and very reasonably priced. We were in Sittingbourne for a wedding nearby and had friends staying at the Holiday Inn and the Travelodge, and we definitely had the nicest room by far and it was cheaper.
Having 3 bathrooms is very convenient. Fluffy towels. The location is good and free parking onsite makes life easier. 15 minutes walk from Sittingbourne station. The kitchen is fairly well equipped. The washing machine was useful.
Lovely house, clean, ton of character and kitted with decent equipment. Perfect walking distance to pretty much everything in sittingbourne including the station. Loved the property and would definitely stay again.
Great experience staying at The Beaumont. A hidden gem in Sittingbourne. Clean as can be and well situated.
But what makes it stand apart is the amazing owners: warm and welcoming! Definitely recommended.
Nice location and facilities although there are some very narrow road restrictions if you are traveling from Sittingbourne town centre to and from the hotel
