Budejovicka Metro Station

Budejovicka is a station on Prague metro line C, 5 stops from Muzeum (Wenceslas Square). Travel time from the centre to Budejovicka is approximately 10 minutes.

Budejovicka Station is located at the junction of Budejovicka, Olbrachtova, and Vyskocilova streets, near the border of Michle and Krc districts, which are the main areas it serves. Neighbouring stations are Pankrac (city centre direction) and Kacerov (Haje direction).

Metro and Buses at Budejovicka

The metro operates daily from 5 am to midnight. Intervals between trains are below 2 minutes during the morning and afternoon peak, 3-5 minutes during most other parts of the day, and up to 10 minutes late in the evening and on weekends.

Budejovicka Station is an important local bus hub. Buses connect the metro with various places in nearby districts, especially Krc, Podoli, Michle, and Kacerov.

Important Buildings and Places near Budejovicka Station

Although it is outside the inner city, the area around Budejovicka Metro Station (and the neighbouring Pankrac Station too) is an important commercial district. There is a big (and quite old) shopping centre directly above the metro at Budejovicka, as well as several high rise buildings. Several banks and big Czech and international companies have their headquarters or offices near Budejovicka or Pankrac. There is also a big medical centre (Poliklinika Budejovicka) next to the southern exit of Budejovicka Metro Station (in A. Staska Street).
