Colombo is a big shopping centre across the street from Estadio da Luz (Benfica Lisbon football stadium). It is quite far from the city centre in the north-western part of Lisbon, but well-connected via metro (Colegio Militar / Luz station on the blue line). Accommodation options are limited compared to the centre, but there are several nice places to stay within walking distance.
Colombo Shopping Centre Location and Directions
The shopping centre is situated just off Avenida Eusebio da Silva Ferreira, which is a section of the Second Circular (Segunda Circular) in Benfica, a district in the north-west of Lisbon. Colombo Shopping Centre is immediately next to the junction of Avenida do Colegio Militar (a street parallel to the circular motorway) with Avenida Lusiada on the northern side. The football stadium is on the other side of the circular.
The metro station Colegio Militar / Luz is directly under that junction. It is on the azul (blue) line, 7 stops from Marques de Pombal or 10 stops from Baixa-Chiado in Lisbon city centre.
