Madrid Royal Palace (Palacio Real) is the official seat of the Spanish King. It is the place where the high officialities and state visits take place, though the real residence of the Spanish royal family is another palace, Palacio de la Zarzuela.
Madrid Royal Palace is located at Plaza de Oriente in the western part of Madrid inner city. It is also very close to the well-known square Plaza de España.
