Nove Butovice Metro Station

Nove Butovice is a station on Prague metro line B in the south-western part of the city. It is between Jinonice and Hurka stations, 4 stops from Andel, 7 stops from Mustek, and 5 stops from Zlicin. Travel time from Prague city centre to Nove Butovice is 10-15 minutes.

The station also serves as a local bus hub, with several bus lines terminating or stopping here.

Nove Butovice Metro Location

The station is located in Bucharova Street near the eastern border of Nove Butovice residential district. It has two entrance points, one on each end of the platform. There is a big shopping centre, Galerie Butovice, near the station (next to the junction of Bucharova, Jeremiasova, Radlicka, and Reporyjska streets).

Metro Terminus

Nove Butovice Metro Station was opened in 1988 and it was the terminus of line B until 1994, when the metro was extended to Zlicin. Some trains still terminate at Nove Butovice at present and only some continue to Zlicin.
