Roztyly Metro Station

Roztyly Station is on metro line C (the red line) in Haje direction (to the south) from Prague city centre. It is located just off Rysaveho Street in Horni Roztyly (Upper Roztyly) district, between the highway (that shortly after becomes D1) and Kunraticky Les (Kunratice Forest). Neighbouring stations are Kacerov (city centre direction) and Chodov (Haje direction).

Distance from the Centre

Roztyly Metro Station is 7 stops from Muzeum (Wenceslas Square), 8 stops from Hlavni Nadrazi (Main Train Station), and 9 stops from Florenc (International Bus Station). Travel time from the city centre is about 15 minutes.

Metro Service

The metro operates daily from 5 am to midnight. Peak intervals between trains on line C are under 2 minutes, the shortest in Prague metro. Off-peak intervals range from 4 to 10 minutes. Note that sometimes the train in Roztyly direction from the centre will terminate at Kacerov (line C depot, one stop before Roztyly) and you will need to wait for the next one.

Roztyly Bus Station

Roztyly is also a busy bus station used by both regional and long-distance buses. Its advantage (compared to Florenc Bus Station) is the location close to the beginning of highway D1 to Brno. Destinations from Roztyly Bus Station include mainly cities and towns to the south and south-east of Prague, as far as Ceske Budejovice in South Bohemia.
