Vltavska is a station on Prague metro line C between Florenc and Nadrazi Holesovice. It is situated in the southern part of Holesovice district on the left bank of the Vltava River, after which it is named. It is just across the river from Florenc and about 15 minutes walk (or a short tram ride) from Prague Old Town.

Prague metro operates daily from about 5 am to midnight. Intervals between trains on this central section of line C are the shortest in the whole Prague network: less than 2 minutes during the morning and afternoon peak and 4-10 minutes in other parts of the day.

Vltavska Station is a busy tram junction. Trams from here go to various parts of Prague, including Letna, Palmovka, Liben, Zizkov, Wenceslas Square, or Smichov. Additional tram lines are accessible at Strossmayerovo Namesti just 3 minutes walk from Vltavska.
Night Trams and Buses at Vltavska Station
At night when the metro and day trams are not operating there are night buses (lines 505 and 511) serving the station. Night trams stop at the nearby Strossmayerovo Namesti.
