Esquinzo is a relatively smaller resort on the east coast of Jandia in south Fuerteventura. It is between Costa Calma and Morro Jable, much closer to the latter (approximately 5km to the north-east from Morro Jable lighthouse). Like all of Jandia its primary attraction is the long beach.

Esquinzo Beaches

Esquinzo lies on the long and almost uninterrupted stretch of beaches from Morro Jable to Costa Calma. In this section the beach is relatively narrow, as the hills are very steep. Nonetheless, the sand is of very high quality and there are numerous places where the beach offers a bit more space.

One of the best things to do in Esquinzo is to take a beach walk. You can go to either side – either to the south-west to Morro Jable or to the north-east towards Costa Calma (but that is too far to walk for most).
