Jandia is a peninsula and a popular tourist region in the south-western end of Fuerteventura. It begins with Pared Isthmus, approximately where Costa Calma is on the east coast and La Pared on the west coast.
Jandia has some of the longest, widest and generally best beaches not only on Fuerteventura, but also in the whole of the Canary Islands. The beaches frequented by tourists stretch along the south-eastern coast, from Costa Calma up to Morro Jable. The beaches on the other side, the north-western coast, are equally stunning, but so far have avoided tourist development.
